Job Summary
Residential Sales Consultant I drives growth through consultative selling of high-efficiency HVAC and water heater solutions to homeowners, leveraging internal warm leads, company pipelines, and self-generated prospects. Responsibilities include presenting tailored comfort options, building lasting customer relationships, collaborating with technical team during site visits to ensure properly tailored solutions, staying current on energy-efficient technologies, and handling flexible hours with on-call shifts as needed. Strong negotiation and closing skills, customer education, and ability to navigate residential environments (ladder use, attics, basements, crawl spaces) are required; a high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree or related sales certifications preferred. The role offers base salary plus commission with potential to earn $90,000–$120,000 annually, and includes benefits such as PTO and health coverage.
Required Qualifications
