Job Summary
Conduct in-home consultations to assess residential plumbing systems, diagnose issues, and recommend practical, code-compliant solutions. Prepare accurate quotations using company systems and pricing tools while presenting product details, warranties, and financing options. Manage appointments, customer follow-up, and sales opportunities through networking and community involvement. Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution and maintain accurate records within CRM systems. Achieve established revenue and gross margin objectives while staying current on plumbing codes and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Qualification (306A) as a Plumber with Red Seal Endorsement
- Minimum five (5) years of plumbing industry experience, including experience as a Plumbing Journeyperson or in a senior technical plumbing role such as estimating, project management, operations management, or technical sales
- Extensive knowledge of residential plumbing systems, installation methods, repair practices, water heating systems, drainage systems, fixtures, sewer systems, and applicable plumbing codes
- Demonstrated ability to assess residential plumbing systems and recommend appropriate customer solutions
- Strong customer service, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prepare accurate customer quotations using company systems and pricing tools
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems, tablets, mobile applications, and other business technology
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with an acceptable driver's abstract
