Job Summary
Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor to assist adults with behavioral health illness in achieving goal setting, ADLs, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation, and medication administration. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms, fostering independence and improved quality of life, and providing direct care and support within a residential setting. Requires HS diploma or equivalent; coursework towards an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred; must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive; CPR/First Aid and MAP certifications will be required. Schedule: Fri-Mon 1p-11p; compensation aligned with full-time 40 hours/week. Located in Randolph, MA.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences towards an Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- previous experience in health and human services field or related education/training
- current valid driver’s license and safe driving record, driving experience; access to a personal vehicle required at some sites
- CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required
