Residential Regional Property Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations for a regional portfolio of residential properties, managing leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance. Supervise and lead property management teams, conducting performance evaluations while driving occupancy and revenue goals through targeted marketing and resident retention. Develop property budgets, analyze financial reports, and coordinate capital improvement projects to maximize profitability. Ensure strict adherence to fair housing laws, safety codes, and local regulations through regular inspections and resident communications. Travel regularly within the region to visit properties and address urgent after-hours issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
- 5+ years in property management
- 2+ years in a regional or multi-site management role
- Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: an ability to walk the property, including flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications, and show apartments
- Be able to communicate with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc., effectively
- This position requires regular travel within the region to visit properties and attend meetings
- Some after-hours availability may be required for emergencies or urgent issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing/leasing multi-family properties
- Displays a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with residents, prospective residents, ownership groups, employees and vendors
- Ability to provide superb customer service, always
- Ability to communicate effectively and assert yourself when necessary
- Knowledge of the fair housing laws and rules against discrimination
- Preference for detailed work
- Ability to work well under pressure, self motivated
- Ability to work autonomously and lead a team
- CPM (Certified Property Manager), CAM (Certified Apartment Manager), or similar credentials
