Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Mental Health to join Arc Human Services in Beaver, PA. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety of participants in a community home setting, providing personal care (including cooking, cleaning, transportation, and supporting goals), dispensing medications, documenting care, and assisting in developing independent living skills and self-advocacy. The role supports participants to become more independent in their homes and communities and offers full-time, part-time, or per-diem shifts with benefits and opportunities for advancement; training is provided. Compensation includes $16 per hour, weekend shift bonus, and up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and 401K with employer match.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to pass TB test (company-paid)
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Experience not required (training provided)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
