Job Summary
Residential Direct Support Professional (PRN) supporting adults with IDD in 24/7 residential homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills and personal care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, administering medications (paid training provided), providing transportation to appointments and community activities, completing documentation accurately and timely, promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion, and ensuring health and safety of residents. Flexible PRN scheduling with on-call shifts, 4 shifts required per 6-week period to maintain active PRN status. Located in Westminster and Taneytown, MD.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Criminal background check
- Drug screen required
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- CPR, First Aid and Med Tech Certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred
- Lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
- Use lifts and mobility equipment including Hoyer lifts
