Job Summary
Monitor daily operations across all residential programs, oversee recruitment and retention of support staff, and provide supervision to Residential Coordinators. Ensure compliance with licensure standards, Virginia Medicaid Waiver Services, HIPAA, and HUD regulations while managing treatment plans, quarterly assessments, and required documentation. Collaborate with Coordinators to develop operating budgets for each site, monitor monthly reports, and implement corrective actions for budget compliance. Represent the Developmental Services Unit on RACS committees and handle on-call duties for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage. Bachelor's degree in Human Services required with three years of human services experience; Master's degree or RN license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the human services field
- Must meet the qualifications for a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) as defined by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS)
- Must be able to work independently
- Must demonstrate initiative
- Must foster strong team collaboration
- Must effectively resolve behavioral challenges and emergency situations
- Must maintain a person-centered approach to service delivery
- Must be available for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Must be able to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (implied by on-call responsibilities)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (if candidate demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Qualification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
