Job Summary
Supervise residential home staff and facilitate daily operations while implementing and reviewing individual Plans of Care. Complete all required documentation on time, submit authorizations to LME, and manage work schedules and payroll hours. Provide one-on-one supervision as needed, fill vacancies, and share on-call service for emergencies. Travel regularly to group homes in Charlotte and maintain a valid driver's license for 24-hour vehicle access. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services with specialized IDD experience, 2 years of supervision, and Monday-Friday hours with potential overnight or weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Professional status
- Bachelors degree in human services field plus 2 years of full-time, accumulated experience with special needs population
- Bachelors degree in non-human services field and 4 years of full-time, supervised habilitative experience with special needs population
- Masters degree in human services field and 1 year of full-time, supervised habilitative experience with special needs population
- 2 years of supervisor experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle 24 hours a day
- Maintained safe driving record
- Must be able to travel to any group home at any time of the day or night
- Must be available to share on-call responsibilities
- Must have a working knowledge of the principles of behavior management and behavioral techniques
- Must be willing to work cooperatively with community partners as well as staff from other InReach departments
- Must be willing to respond to all needs and requests positively and professionally
- Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check
