Job Summary
Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing, lead team performance through communication and training, and develop activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum. Communicate with families and guardians as needed, ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP covering medication, meal planning, and behavior management, and complete program documentation and billable records accurately. Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals, report concerns immediately, and maintain work locations and vehicles with necessary supplies. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or investigations. This role involves evening and weekend hours with potential on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
- Must be available for evening and weekend hours
- Must be available for on-call status
