Job Summary
Manage staff schedules and team performance through communication, training, and meetings. Develop activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum and ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP, covering medication, meal planning, and behavior management. Communicate with families and guardians as needed while monitoring health needs and reporting concerns immediately. Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately. Maintain work locations and vehicles as clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or investigations. Schedule may change due to business needs, including evening and weekend hours, with potential on-call requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred with two years of experience supporting people with disabilities. Valid driver's license and knowledge of state regulatory standards required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours
- Ability to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff
