Job Summary
Hire, train, and evaluate Residential Supervisors while ensuring regulatory and policy compliance through record reviews, facility inspections, and program audits. Guide staff in developing treatment plans including individual service plans and behavior protocols, then monitor their implementation. Serve as the primary liaison with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and Department of Developmental Services, providing mandatory trainings on safety and emergency procedures. Review final reporting on incidents, restraints, and medication occurrences, and provide rotational weekend and evening coverage for emergency on-call. Act as a mandated reporter for suspected abuse or neglect.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years prior experience including 3 years residential management and staff management experience and 3 years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, brain injuries or other unique challenges
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form with coworkers and supported individuals and read fluently
- Valid driver's license in the state of Massachusetts required
- Successful completion of all state and Agency mandated trainings required upon hire
- Successful completion of Medication Administration Training certification required upon hire
- Provides rotational weekend and evening coverage for emergency on-call
