Job Summary
Residential Program Director responsible for the overall coordination, implementation and operation of the Specialized Trauma-Informed Treatment Assessment and Reunification model (STTAR) in a West Hartford adolescent- focused program. Oversees 24/7 staff scheduling and on-call supervision, payroll/payables, contracts, licensing readiness, and coordination with DCF and community agencies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years of residential/group home management with adolescents in DCF care, CT driver’s license, and certifications in CPR/First Aid, TCI, and Medication Administration. Strong organizational and communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum five (5) years of Residential/Group Home management, particularly with adolescents in DCF care
- Experience working with at-risk children/adolescents and administrative management and staff supervision in a 24/7 residential setting
- Valid CT driver’s license with clean driving record
- Certification in CPR/First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), and Medication Administration plus additional trainings
