Job Summary
Coordinate services for finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, and household management while performing direct support duties like personal care, meal preparation, and transportation. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure program coverage and assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming and team communication. Provide guidance to staff members and promote person-centered supports that foster independence and dignity. Assist with household management to maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment. Communicate program, medical, behavioral, and staffing needs to supervisors. Full-time shift with weekend and holiday availability; starting rate $20.50/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods
- Ability to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines
- Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays
