Job Summary
Coordinate services for finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, and educational programs while managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Perform direct support duties including personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and household maintenance to promote independence and dignity. Assist the supervisor in maintaining programming consistency, providing guidance to staff, and communicating needs regarding medical, behavioral, and staffing matters. Maintain a clean, safe home environment and document all services using basic computer skills. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of experience with individuals with disabilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time role with weekend and holiday shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods
- Ability to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines
- Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays
