Job Summary
Coordinate services for finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, and household management while managing staff schedules to ensure program coverage. Perform direct support duties including personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and activities of daily living for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Assist the supervisor in maintaining programming consistency, providing guidance to staff, and communicating medical and behavioral needs. Maintain a clean, safe home environment and document services using basic computer skills. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of experience with individuals with disabilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time shift with weekend and holiday availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods
- Ability to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines
- Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays
