Residential Porter - VIA 57WEST

Porter position at VIA 57WEST in Midtown Manhattan. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional resident/customer service; maintaining lobby, common areas, and amenity spaces; assisting with maintenance tasks and turnovers; and serving on the Emergency Response Team to respond to fire, medical, and other emergencies. Requires shift Wednesday–Sunday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company SOPs. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), OSHA 10, Local 32BJ training (where applicable), three-plus years of porter/handyperson experience (hospitality or residential sectors preferred), and certificates such as S-12/S-13 (preferred). Must be able to work any day of the week, including overtime when needed; physical ability to perform required tasks; and commitment to equal opportunity employment. The role involves coordinating with vendors/contractors, performing vacant unit upkeep, and assisting in emergencies as directed by the Incident Commander.
