Job Summary
Plumbing Designers and Engineers produce Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCAD for single- and multi-family residential design plans; generate detailed Plumbing Design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation and bidding; prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD; collaborate with design staff and drafters to complete projects. Requires strong AutoCAD and MS Excel skills, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of NSPC, ICC International Codes, and Uniform Building Codes. Must be detail-oriented, capable of working in teams, and able to drive deadlines in fast-moving environments.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience.
