Job Summary
Design and engineer plumbing systems for residential buildings using AutoCAD, producing Waste/Vent, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematics, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing drawings; responsible for Plumbing Engineering and Design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential design plans; generate detailed Construction Documents in AutoCAD for bidding and construction; collaborate with design staff and drafters to deliver coordinated, cross-discipline designs; requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years of residential plumbing design experience; knowledge of NSPC, ICC, and Uniform Building Codes; strong analysis, attention to detail, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; Monday–Friday day shift with potential for additional hours.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience
- Preferred 3+ years’ experience in Plumbing Design for residential building systems, code compliance, and construction
- Plumbing Design experience with production of Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing
