Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across residential and commercial properties by reading blueprints, interpreting drawings, and working with water, waste, gas, and hot liquid systems. Install fixtures, piping, valves, water heaters, and treatment systems while testing systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring everything meets code. Partner with Service Techs and contractors to complete projects efficiently and manage work orders with accurate reporting. Support emergency on-call needs with additional pay. Requires City of Chicago Plumbing License, 5–10 years of hands-on experience, and valid driver's license. Mileage reimbursed.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and plan system layouts
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Comfort working in physically active environments
- City of Chicago Plumbing License
