Job Summary
The Outside Sales Representative will drive growth for J.R. & Co. by generating new business opportunities and nurturing revenue streams. Responsibilities include lead generation, creating and presenting tailored sales proposals, engaging clients, negotiating contracts, and maintaining detailed records on CRM. Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and be knowledgeable about OSHA standards. A strong emphasis is placed on problem-solving and collaboration with internal teams, with a focus on maintaining relationships and achieving sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with state laws and company policies
- Knowledgeable about OSHA safety standards and committed to following all safety protocols
- Tech-savvy with experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, The EDGE (preferred), and Pipedrive(preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred
- Construction/contracting background preferred
- Canvassing sales experience preferred
- Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of roofing systems, applications and benefits preferred
- Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred
