Job Summary
Residential Outside Sales Representative responsible for selling Cox data, video, and mobile services to residential customers within a defined Tucson territory through door-to-door canvassing and face-to-face presentations. Build and manage a territory by generating leads, pursuing referrals, establishing partner relationships, and training new hires. The role involves evening and weekend hours, a performance-based compensation plan with base salary and commissions, and opportunities for higher earnings based on sales targets. You’ll engage with homeowners associations, multi-dwelling unit managers, and leasing agents, while maintaining ethical standards and representing Cox professionally. The position requires living in the Tucson, AZ area and working at a Cox location with no remote option.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to qualify for Certifications and licenses, as required by state and municipal laws, to sell Home Security
- Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate a Smart Phone, iPad and a computer
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to walk 1 1⁄2 or more miles a day and up and down stairs within your residential territory
