Job Summary
Residential Outside Sales Representative drives growth by canvassing the Wichita, KS area, selling Cox data, video, and mobile services to residential customers through door-to-door outreach in an assigned territory. You'll generate leads, perform face-to-face sales presentations, nurture relationships with homeowner associations and property managers, collaborate with other departments, and work evening/weekend hours to maximize customer contact. The role includes training new hires, managing a territory, and aiming to meet or exceed sales targets with a strong emphasis on ethical, professional customer interactions. Compensation features a base salary plus commission with the potential to earn up to $94,387 annually for high performers, plus benefits and incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to qualify for Certifications and licenses to sell Home Security (as required by state/municipal laws)
- Proficient knowledge of smartphone, iPad, and computer
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to walk 1 1/2 miles a day and go up/down stairs
- Outside/field sales experience with quota requirements (1+ years preferred)
- Experience in residential direct sales, home security, or telecommunications (preferred)
