Residential Operations Leader

Job Summary
Lead the full lifecycle of residential delivery, overseeing operations across multiple communities while ensuring predictable starts, cycle times, and completions. Build and manage a team of leaders, refine operating systems, implement safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. Partner with various departments to balance volume, capacity, and gross margin, using data to monitor performance and anticipate risks. A minimum of 15 years in residential construction and a bachelor's degree in a related field are required, along with a proven ability to lead large teams and a strong understanding of both land and homebuilding delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of residential construction/operations experience
- Experience leading multi‐community homebuilding operations
- Strong financial acumen in estimating, scheduling, cost control, and margin management
- Track record of building disciplined operating systems and using KPIs to drive performance
- Experience applying lean and continuous improvement in a production homebuilding environment
- Ability to lead leaders and hold them accountable
- Excellent cross‐functional communication and influence skills
