Job Summary
Develop and execute post-closing transaction management and surveillance for residential mortgage portfolios (RTL, SFR, land banking). Oversee monthly remittance and waterfall reviews, reconcile servicer remittance reports against bank and collection accounts, validate cash flows, and monitor covenants and delinquencies. Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Back Office to set up new investments and ensure accurate reporting; research and resolve loan-related issues; support process improvements and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in loan servicing, mortgage operations, or real estate finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and requires minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across departments
- Knowledge of real estate finance, investments, accounting, and insurance principles preferred
