Job Summary
Oversee the smooth operation of a Brooklyn or Staten Island group home residence, ensuring ongoing compliance with State and Federal regulations. Provide direct supervision of direct support staff, collaborate with management to create service programs, and assign tasks to the team. Participate in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident under jurisdiction. Requires experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), knowledge of OPWDD regulations, and a valid NYS or Tri-state driver's license. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including one day of each weekend. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations
- Valid NYS or Tri-state driver's license for more than one year
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule including one day of each weekend
