Job Summary
Build meaningful, supportive relationships with young adults ages 18-28 while guiding them through experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, and fitness. Apply treatment team strategies daily to drive client progress, utilizing advanced de-escalation techniques to ensure a calm and safe environment. Contribute to campus upkeep by managing maintenance issues and assisting clients with chores, while maintaining thorough documentation of all interactions and interventions. Uphold company values, adhere to policies, and participate in physical interventions following trauma-informed safety protocols. This full-time, on-site role in Needville, TX requires standing, walking, and engaging in a fast-paced city-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Age: 21 years of age or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass federal and state background check
- Must be willing and able to participate in physical interventions (e.g., therapeutic holds)
- Must be comfortable with physically active work, including standing, walking, and engaging in interventions
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field
- Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Quick decision-making skills
- A growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values
