Job Summary
Monitor residents and redirect behavior to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu. Assist with admissions, including bag searches and paperwork, while establishing therapeutic relationships and providing daily care. Observe residents, document observations, and supervise meals and snack preparation. Facilitate group therapy sessions covering DBT, CBT, and body image topics. Communicate with treatment teams, conduct daily weigh-ins, and complete call assignments. Administer Columbia risk assessments, monitor safety, and manage crisis situations. Model therapeutic eating habits by consuming programmatic meals throughout the shift. Full-time rotating weekend schedule with day, evening, and night shifts. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field
- CPR Certification
- knowledge of psychiatric group process
