Job Summary

Administer medications for residents in the Ray House adult residential program while overseeing all documentation within the medication room. Manage all aspects of medication administration by implementing agency rules and regulations, attending weekly staff meetings, and participating in other required meetings. Perform work under the supervision of the Program Director or their designee. Maintain full-time status with 40 hours per week on-site in South Portland, ME.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within one (1) year of employment
  • Must maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list
  • Must pass CNA registry check
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds
  • A good driving record
  • Must be able to drive to attend meetings and trainings
  • Must be able to drive to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area
  • Must be able to transport clients
  • Must be able to drive to agency location to complete work

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor's Degree or equivalent training in mental health
