Residential Medical Coordinator

Residential Medical Coordinator oversees medication management, medical documentation, and healthcare coordination for individuals in a residential setting, working with the RN to ensure quality medical care. Key duties include weekly medication inventory, AMAP inventory checks, MAR review for signatures and accuracy, scheduling and tracking medical appointments and labs with the RN, documenting prescriptions in MARs, maintaining CVS and MIPS forms, monitoring AMAP certifications and training compliance, advocating for individuals at medical appointments with adaptive equipment, promptly communicating medication changes and appointment outcomes to the nurse and management, maintaining medication storage/inventory/AMAP logs, training new AMAP staff, and performing DSP duties as needed to ensure safety and well-being. Requires experience in an OPWDD residential setting, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, AMAP certification, SCIP and CPR certification, and ongoing training commitment.
