Job Summary
Monitor all home operations to ensure supports are present for individuals and maintain budgetary compliance with staff schedules and household expenses. Supervise direct support staff through hiring, discipline, and termination while scheduling personnel and performing duties as needed. Comply with OPWDD and OFPC regulations, state survey results, and agency policies through accurate documentation and billing. Collaborate with families and advocates to build person-centered relationships. Manage 24-hour emergency coverage with frequent evening hours and on-call responsibilities. Requires valid NYS driver's license, medical certification, and g-tube training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum one-year prior experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related human services program experience
- One year of supervisory experience in any field or six months internal supervisory experience
- Medical certification
- g-tube training
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Valid NYS Driver's license that meets agency standards
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals
