Job Summary
Residential Manager in the Intensive Treatment Program leads site operations and staff development for adolescents (typically 12–18) with autism spectrum disorders and mental health/developmental needs. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring Behavior Technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance and fiscal parameters, coordinating staffing and coverage, conducting staff coaching and evaluations, maintaining client documentation and incident reporting (SIRs), supporting family and external stakeholders, and collaborating with other departments to provide a safe, quality environment. Requires leadership, supervision, and strong computer/customer skills; minimum HS diploma with 5 years’ related experience (or 3 years with an Associate’s/Bachelor’s) and a valid NYS driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum Experience Required: 5 years applicable prior experience with HS Diploma OR 3 years with Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Ability to supervise staff and manage operations across assigned site(s)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and organizational policies
- Training in ABAs SCIP-R (as per program requirements)
- Office/admin skills including documentation and payroll-related tasks
