Job Summary
Residential Manager oversees direct care staff for residents, participates in developing and implementing the Overall Plan of Service, ensures medication administration per policy and proper documentation, monitors daily medical/physical/behavioral changes, maintains safety and cleanliness of the home, manages staff scheduling and on-call coverage, conducts monthly staff meetings and mandatory training, coordinates resident activities and community-based outings, ensures program compliance with DDS regulations, and transports clients as scheduled; requires High School Diploma or GED, CNA or 1 year experience in Human Services, CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration Certification (PMT certification within required timeframe), valid driver’s license and vehicle, English proficiency, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and availability for Monday–Friday 11am–7pm; prior experience in developing care plans and maintaining confidentiality is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- CNA or 1 year experience in Human Services field
- CPR, First Aid Certification, and Medication Administration Certification upon hire
- Must obtain PMT certification within the time frame set
- Must hold and maintain all required certifications throughout employment
