Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of a group home and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and mentoring a care team; coordinating services with medical professionals, therapists, and other providers; developing care plans and advocating for individuals; ensuring policies, procedures, and state regulations are followed; maintaining documentation and scheduling; crisis management; and providing transportation as needed. Requires leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; background checks are required. Degree in human services is preferred, or equivalent experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in human services preferred, OR experience supporting individuals with disabilities/behavioral challenges
- Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (Must have a clean driving record)
- Pass Background Checks: state background check and required state screenings
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
- Lead, mentor, and train staff to provide high-quality, person-centered care
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
