Job Summary
Manage all program services and operations for a residential home, supervising personnel, policy, fiscal management, and consumer care. Conduct performance appraisals, hire staff, and prepare bi-weekly payroll while ensuring compliance with ASI, DDS, and federal regulations. Monitor program compliance through direct observation, review consumer documentation, and distribute medications per certification guidelines. Assist in transporting consumers to community activities and maintain home safety, cleanliness, and equipment inspections. Chair monthly staff meetings, coordinate with clinical teams for licensing readiness, and report incidents immediately per state protocols. Work Friday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, sharing on-call coverage bi-weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years management experience
- Minimum two years direct care experience in the area of developmental disabilities or of dually diagnosed
- Educational requirement may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis
- Demonstrated administrative knowledge and skills in fiscal, personnel, managerial and operational process necessary for the general supervision of specialized residential care facilities
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership evident by excellent role modeling
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to be insured by our insurance company throughout employment
- Exemplary interpersonal skills
- Certifications in CPR
- Certifications in First Aid
- Certifications in PMT
- Certifications in DDS State Medication Administration
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to transfer individuals
- Ability to physically intervene with individuals as required
- Ability to work Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Ability to work Monday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Ability to work Tuesday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Ability to work Wednesday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Ability to work Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Ability to work Saturday OFF
- Ability to work Sunday OFF
- Ability to work additional hours outside the schedule when needed to meet the staffing requirements of the program
