Job Summary
Oversee the overall function and safety of assigned residential homes, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Hire, train, supervise, and retain Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Residential Managers while conducting regular staff meetings and performance reviews. Manage staffing schedules, time and attendance, and PTO requests. Lead Life Plan meetings, clinical and administrative reviews of Habilitation Plans, and Medicaid billing audits. Audit resident personal allowance funds, maintain medication certifications, and report on incident investigations per 633/624/625 regulations. Identify and correct safety hazards, including completing monthly fire drills. Work a Monday through Friday schedule with one weekend day per month, including a 24-hour on-call rotation for health and safety emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50lbs
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required
- Must complete Springbrook New Manager Orientation
- Be able to perform all physical interventions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Minimum four (4) years supervisory experience
- Good analytical, written and oral communication abilities
- Interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Must be computer literate with ability to learn Springbrook operating systems and all applicable software
- Must be able to create and present written reports and respond to questions about reports
