Job Summary
Diagnose and repair multi-trade residential issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry across scattered-site properties in Chicagoland. Complete 4–5 work orders daily, starting and ending at your home, while troubleshooting leaks, appliance failures, and code compliance matters. Call dispatch immediately if a job goes sideways to ensure resident and manager notification. Maintain a route using smartphone and tablet for digital work orders, photos, and time cards. Own your insured vehicle, lift 30+ pounds, and work in varying Chicago weather conditions. Earn $28/hour plus performance bonuses and fuel support.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in residential maintenance
- formal training through an apprenticeship or vocational program
- Real working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and general repair
- The ability to diagnose the actual cause and complete the repair correctly on the first visit
- Enough familiarity with residential code to walk a property with a municipal inspector
- Expert command of hand, power, and specialty tools
- Valid Illinois driver's license

Desired Qualifications

- Scattered site rental property repair experience
