Job Summary
Residential Maintenance Technician responsible for general and routine maintenance of residential properties, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus preventive maintenance. Requires knowledge of maintenance tools, safe work practices, and the ability to operate HVAC equipment; responsibilities include repairing fixtures (lights, locks, windows, doors, flooring, gutters, drains), performing routine maintenance, keeping a clean and safe work environment, monitoring work by outside contractors, and handling grounds work. Must maintain inventory controls, adhere to safety procedures, and communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors, and staff. On-call duties and on-site presence during maintenance windows; ability to use a tablet, smartphone, and computer to document work and communicate. Requires High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience, plus a valid driver’s license.
