Job Summary
Respond to and complete resident maintenance requests for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues. Prepare vacant units for new residents through painting, drywall repair, and deep cleaning. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential problems. Assist with exterior cleaning, snow removal, and light landscaping. Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts usage, and tool inventory. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and at least six months of residential maintenance experience. Compensation ranges from $18 to $26 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in residential property maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related skilled trade
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- The ability to pass a background check
