Job Summary
Residential Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical condition of residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot and repair issues, fix leaks and clogs, repair fixtures and equipment, ensure safety and code compliance, communicate with tenants, respond to work orders, conduct preventative maintenance, manage inventory and supplies, and assist with additional tasks such as painting, cleaning, grounds work, or snow removal as needed. Requires experience in residential maintenance or related field, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/HVAC, ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, and effective communication with residents and management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in residential maintenance, construction, or a related field
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and management
