Job Summary
Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains residential properties and related Mayroad assets (pool, community centers, playgrounds, ice rinks, dog parks, community garden, etc.), including structural, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, steam, pressure washing, and other tasks as assigned. Requires experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC diagnostics/maintenance, use of power tools and basic computer/timekeeping skills, a REAL-ID driver’s license for on-the-job transportation, and the ability to pass background checks. Work is performed on military housing properties at McConnell Air Force Base with an on-site schedule (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM) and on-call rotation; PPE and safety protocols are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of residential experience in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC diagnostics/maintenance
- familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, electrical tools
- basic computer/phone skills including timekeeping
- REAL-ID driver’s license (travel ID) and use of personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation
- ability to pass a state and federal background check and a 12-panel drug test
- ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- on-site work Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM + on-call rotation
