Job Summary
The Residential Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance staff and is responsible for completing service requests within 24 hours, participating in community improvement and preventative maintenance programs, and performing various electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs. The role requires thorough knowledge of laws and regulations related to hazardous materials, effective scheduling of preventative maintenance, inventory management, and ensuring a safe work environment. The position demands strong interpersonal skills for dealing with residents and vendors, along with the ability to supervise and manage maintenance personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years related experience in apartment maintenance or related field
- Up-to-Date EPA Universal Certification
- Up-to-Date HVAC Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Swimming Pool Certification (CPO)
