Job Summary
Reviews loan documents post-closing to verify conditions, coordinates with borrowers, attorneys, and external vendors to obtain missing information, and manages loan file setup and maintenance. Responsible for preparing payoff calculations, disbursement of payoff funds, and updating host-system loan specifics. Performs quality control on mortgage files, maintains GL accounts and vendor invoices, and supports annual reviews such as PMI and escrow analyses. Requires ability to organize multiple tasks, operate a computer terminal, and navigate mortgage servicing procedures and compliance requirements. Office-based role in Brockton, MA with emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and cross-department collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in Consumer Lending; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two to three years of increasingly responsible experience in mortgage lending functions
- Experience with mortgage servicing and loan processing
- Proficient clerical and typing skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
