Job Summary
Responsible for the management of the Residential Department during assigned shifts, ensuring student safety and compliance with operations. Provides supervision and support to Residential Advisors, enforces accountability documentation for student whereabouts, and maintains student filing systems. Develops group sessions for student skill development, oversees inventory of dormitory supplies, and recruits department staff. Requires high conflict resolution and communication skills, along with experience in youth supervision and residential settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and two years’ experience working with youth in a residential setting.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- High level of conflict resolution and verbal communication skills.
- Effective relationship-building skills with students and staff.
- Information technology proficiency including MS Office.
- A valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in human services or related field and four years’ experience working with youth.
- Two years’ supervisory experience.
