Job Summary
Residential Lead Staff assists the Residential Manager with day-to-day operations of the residential program, provides direct services to individuals, ensures medical and recreational needs are met through transportation to appointments, oversees and trains staff, develops and reports on Person Center Plans, plans weekly menus, assists individuals with budgeting and shopping, and maintains house operations and paperwork. The role requires on-call availability, on-site presence, strong communication, staff supervision, adherence to DSPD policies, safety and crisis-management capabilities, and the ability to manage finances and ensure a healthy, clean living environment for individuals. The position emphasizes leadership in supervising staff, maintaining records, coordinating training, and providing a stable, person-centered residential environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of six months of related experience working with people with disabilities
- Complete all initial and on-going training requirements within established time frames
- Complete management training with appropriate administration
