Job Summary
Residential Lead at Delta Community Supports, Inc. leads shift operations for a home-like, supportive environment for adults with developmental disabilities. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, hygiene support, transportation, medication administration, and documentation, while ensuring care plans and behavior strategies are followed and compliance with policies and inspections. The position involves promoting independence, community integration, and safety, with a Sun-Thu 8am-4pm shift and full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Two years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
- Willingness to provide hands-on personal care including assistance with toileting and maintaining personal hygiene
- Ability to oversee daily shift operations, including cleaning, documentation, activities, hygiene support, and transportation
- Experience administering and tracking medications per policy
- Strong communication with leadership and staff
- Ability to guide staff in implementing care plans and behavior strategies
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct
