Job Summary
Residential Installation & Service Technician responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting for voice, video and data services. Performs installations and changes of service, designs basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet and Wi‐Fi, and conducts field assessments while adhering to NEC/NESC and local requirements. Requires climbing poles and working from ladders/buckets, lifting up to 70 lbs, and may involve weekends/overtime. Provides customer education on products/services, maintains tools/equipment, and completes required training and certifications to advance. Must have a valid driver's license and pass licensing/background checks where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to climb poles and lift 70 lbs
- Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed
- Complete required training and certifications within specified timeframe
- Demonstrated safety awareness and adherence to NEC/NESC
