Job Summary
Perform residential broadband installations, service changes, and disconnects while diagnosing and resolving network issues from connection points to customer equipment. Install and support home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, then verify service quality with testing tools and adjust for reliable performance. Educate customers on products and equipment use, accurately document work, and maintain assigned vehicles and tools. Operate ladders, meters, and light power tools safely, working at heights up to 26 ft. and lifting equipment weighing 70 pounds or more. Drive a company vehicle safely and communicate professionally with customers and supervisors. Complete required training, certifications, and background checks within defined timeframes. Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet or exceed performance and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, consistent attendance
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules—including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- Ability to work at heights up to 26 ft. on ladders, roofs, poles, or bucket trucks
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 70 pounds or more
- Ability to work in crawl spaces or attics
- Ability to perform duties near electrical sources
- Ability to operate ladders, hand tools, meters, and light power tools safely and correctly
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and confined spaces
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers
- Ability to meet or exceed established performance and safety standards
- Ability to complete required training, certifications, background checks, and licensing within defined timeframes
- Ability to drive a company vehicle safely
