Job Summary
Residential HVAC Service Technician responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential HVAC systems such as split systems, heat pumps, package units, and gas furnaces; performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections; troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues; accurately documenting work performed, parts used, and system conditions; communicating clearly with customers about issues and recommended solutions; maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site; following safety policies and EPA regulations; and participating in on-call rotation. The role offers competitive pay based on experience with a company vehicle and benefits; location is Surfside Beach, SC, with in-person work as the remote option.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- 2+ years residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
