Job Summary
Residential HVAC Technician needed to install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems in a Columbus, OH area employer. Earn up to $40/hour with a $300 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including health/vision/dental/life, 401(k), PTO, sick days, holidays, monthly bonuses, company vehicle and uniforms. Role requires 4+ years of HVAC field experience, knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes, ability to read wiring diagrams, run pipe and duct systems through homes, perform routine maintenance, train junior team members, and communicate effectively with clients. Driver’s license with good driving record required. Qualifications emphasize problem solving, self-motivation, strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of HVAC field experience
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
- Removing old HVAC systems
- Installing new HVAC systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Training junior team members
- Communicating with clients and customers
- Ordering and maintaining equipment
- Running pipe and duct systems through homes
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
- Understanding refrigeration cycles
- Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
