Job Summary
HVAC Service Technician responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently, explaining problems and solutions to customers, and maintaining detailed records of service performed. Role involves inspecting systems, making adjustments/upgrades, driving a company van to job sites, adhering to safety regulations, and sustaining a clean, organized work environment. Requires strong mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 100 pounds)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
- EPA Type II Preferred
- 1 Year of experience
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work
- Regular exposure to extreme temperatures indoors and outdoors
